Google Arts & Culture launched it’s new program “We Wear Culture” at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Examining the cultural significance and stories behind the clothes, this unprecedented project highlights the origins, history and craftmanship of fashion, thanks to the latest digital technologies.

Google has banded together with over 180 fashion organizations from all over the world where innovation happens daily to create and bring ultra-high definition fabrics and sewing items images, hundreds of interactives virtual exhibits, behind-the-scenes videos, and virtual reality immersion experiences. For the occasion, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs hosted during two days an immersive exhibition where the public could explore in VR the stories of iconic pieces such as the Chanel little black dress from the nineteenth century until today.
