01 MILLION TREE PROJECT
To offset our carbon footprint and reduce the impact of business travel, 2022 was our second year participating in the Million Tree Project as part of our company-wide CSR program. The initiative began in 2007, led by Shanghai Roots and Shoots, to plant high oxygen-producing trees in China’s Inner Mongolia and Ningxia regions. Our forest site of 2022 is located in Hangjin Qi, Ordos City, in Inner Mongolia. Eight thousand seedlings were planted in the name of Auditoire, covering an area of 4.8 hectares (approximately 12 acres). In 2021, we planted 9,000 shrubs at the Baijitan Nature Reserve in Ningxia.
02 ROOM 13
Room 13 facilitates the work of young children alongside adult artists in residence, providing them with artistic spaces and placing creativity at the heart of learning. AUDITOIRE has been supporting Room 13 at a civilian-run primary school since 2018. To support the project, AUDITOIRE Asia organised a Charity Market, where funds raised went towards further funding to benefit the kids on an annual basis. In addition, children were invited to bring their artwork to the office and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon.
03 TUESDAY FOR IDEAS
Tuesday for Ideas (TFI) is an internal training and development programme at AUDITOIRE where employees discuss views and matters aimed at broadening professional skills through speakers, workshops, and the opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals. We host seminars centred around CSR strategies. Past events include screening the documentary Girl Rising on International Women’s Day to #BreakTheBias, as well as ‘WASTE AS RESOURCE’ to learn systematic, transparent, safe, and environmentally friendly methods for separating recyclable waste and improving our daily behaviour toward waste management.
