SECOURS POPULAIRE FRANÇAIS
Journée des Oubliés des Vacances (JOV)
HISTORIC CELEBRATION
To celebrate Secours Populaire’s 80th anniversary, the iconic ‘Journée des Oubliés des Vacances’ (JOV) transformed Paris into a playground of solidarity. Over 40,000 underprivileged children from France and five continents enjoyed an unforgettable day, reinforcing the association’s fight against social exclusion.
AN EXTRAORDINARY DAY IN PARIS
As part of the ‘Vacances de Ouf’ experience, all the children discovered Paris through visits to museums and heritage sites, before gathering on a fully privatized Champ-de-Mars for an epic festival packed with concerts, games, and 160 activities. Truly an ‘awesome holiday’ in the heart of Paris. Carrying the spirit of the Paris 2024 Games, children explored 26 sports disciplines, including parasports, guided by professionals.
UNITED FOR SOLIDARITY
The celebration featured high-energy concerts by Bigflo & Oli, Vitaa, Ridsa, Carbonne, and Marguerite, a giant “Guess Who?” game with Léna Situations, and karaoke shows led by Disneyland Paris alongside Mickey and Minnie. They also had the unique opportunity to meet 24 Olympic and Paralympic athletes, sharing their passion both on stage and up close. Nearly 130 committed partners, 10,000 volunteers, and over 200 event professionals joined forces to create an epic and unforgettable experience.
