Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards

The Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are an international competition created in 2006 to identify, support, and encourage women entrepreneurs-led projects. The 2018 edition in Singapore partnered with TED for a dynamic evening of conversations and enlightening presentations. To celebrate Cartier’s dedication to launching the ideas of female entrepreneurs into concrete change, TED curated a special session of talks around the theme Bold Alchemy, featuring a selection of favoured TED speakers. The event concluded with an elegant ceremony awarding six women out of eighteen finalists and an exhibition displaying their inspiring projects.
